Situated in the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine Growing District, Redstone Vineyard is one of the warmest vineyards in Hawke’s Bay, perfect for the cultivation of later ripening varieties. This site typically produces ripe, supple and very aromatic Merlot with an amalgam of red and black fruit, lifted floral fragrance and an underlying iron-like minerality.

TASTING NOTES
AROMAS
On the nose, this wine delivers lifted aromas reminiscent of rose, cedar, sandalwood and warm spice, while the oak imparts underlying dark chocolate and savoury notes.
BODY
The heart of this wine is its dense, brooding plum and dark berry fruit. The palate is rich, weighty and long, driven by a firm yet fine-grained tannin structure.
CELLARING
This wine is already drinking exceptionally well.
