Grown across our Tuki Tuki Vineyard and our Redstone Vineyard, this is a medium to full bodied Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity and a whisp of flinty minerality. Aromatics lean more towards zesty citrus and citrus blossom this year, as is typical of the Tuki Tuki Vineyard, yet the Redstone fruit brings layers of ripe peach, cashew and fig. Complexities of roasted hazelnut, patisserie and a hint of smoky gunflint compliment the wine.

TASTING NOTES
AROMAS
Fresh, zesty citrus and citrus blossom notes come to the fore this year with riper, richer stone fruit underlying and providing extra depth. The fruit is overlaid with complexities of roasted nuts, toasted brioche and a hint of smoky struck flint.
BODY
This is a full-bodied Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity and a spine of slate-like minerality.
CELLARING
Already drinking exceptionally well, with careful cellaring we expect this wine to continue to
mature gracefully for six years or more from vintage date. With age, the wine will develop more complex,
savoury nuttiness and will gain breadth and richness on the palate.
