Flavour of Place Tasting
Discover a singular expression of place in this tasting of the Church Road 1 collection. In the creation of Church Road 1, our winemakers seek to encapsulate the unique terroir of a single vineyard and a varietal’s characteristics with minimal intervention and maximal expression.

Editions Tasting

Inspired By the Bay Tasting
Experience the best fruit sourced across the entirety of the Hawke’s Bay and Central Otago regions in this tasting of the Church Road Grand Reserve collection. These highly-decorated wines are the culmination of over 125 years of a steadfast commitment to honouring our heritage, tradition and craftsmanship.

Church Road Group Tasting
Church Road wines are best enjoyed in the company of friends. Our Group Tasting is the perfect environment in which to experience the spectrum of our collection, including our Blanc de Blancs, two wines exclusive to our cellar door, and two highly-awarded Grand Reserve wines. This experience is best suited to groups of nine or more.

TOM Experience
Discover the iconic Church Road TOM collection through an intimate wine flight experience within the atmospheric surroundings of our underground museum. Reflecting the exceptional terroir of Hawke’s Bay, as well as the considered viticulture and masterful techniques of our winemakers, these wines are only produced during outstanding vintages using superior parcels of fruit to craft wines that show exceptional character and quality. Be expertly guided through current and back vintage TOM wines as you explore the philosophy and character of our flagship range — produced as a tribute to our groundbreaking founder, Tom McDonald — while enjoying complementary savoury bites.

Legacy Experience
Immerse yourself in the past, present and future of Church Road with our Legacy Experience. Learn more about our winemaking philosophy as you sample some of our pre-release wines, enjoy the barrel halls, caves and an historical underground museum before concluding the experience with an in-depth wine tasting.

At Church Road our lunch menu reflects our winemaking philosophy by combining traditional influences and locally sourced produce. Our restaurant partner, Orton’s, offers an a la carte menu with delicious platter options, generous mains, and delightful desserts, expertly matched to Church Road wines by our Chief Winemaker Chris Scott.

Our historic winery is a beautiful space popular for weddings, and we also offer a stunning garden ceremony option that can be utilised for drinks and canapés.
