This wine was grown at our Matapiro Vineyard in the cooler Crownthorpe Terraces sub-region of Hawke’s Bay. This is our most elevated and inland vineyard, where greater fluctuations between day and nighttime temperatures are perfect for cultivating aromatics and acidity.

TASTING NOTES
AROMAS
Ripe pear, floral and spice aromas are evident on the nose.
BODY
This Pinot Gris has a fine acid balance and a touch of natural sweetness that helps to
build a palate that is soft and approachable, yet still elegant and fresh.
CELLARING
This wine is already drinking exceptionally well.
